How it Works

Benevolist.org simplifies and speeds up the nonprofit item donation process and helps to increase the number of donors for all your charitable item collection drives. Work with our merchant partners to easily create a drive list of items for your next donation drive. Share the link to the list with your donor network and they’ll be off and running - purchasing the items that you’ve specifically chosen and then having them delivered to your desired location!

You’ll be amazed at how Benevolist.org helps make your work so much easier and more efficient. And your donors will love contributing to the success of all your nonprofit's item donation drives.

There is absolutely no cost to use Benevolist.org, either as an Organizer or as a Donor (shopper). Benevolist.org is an affiliate partner with Amazon, Walmart, The Home Depot and Target stores, and may earn from qualifying purchases which contribute to the operation of this website.

Benevolist.org does not collect any credit card information. Shoppers navigate directly to the merchant website once they select an item or items that they’d like to purchase from the drive list. They will pay for the items through their own account on the merchant website. If they don’t already have an account, they may need to set one up or shop as a guest, depending on the merchant.

Only items from our merchant partners can be added to your drive lists.

The Organizer relies on you to tell them. This is done by easily navigating back to the drive list. You can return directly to the open drive list by clicking on the blinking tab on your screen or via the donation confirmation email we send to you. You'll be guided to report the items and quantities that you’ve purchased. This is an important step that really helps out your donation drive Organizer, so you don’t want to skip it!

Every Organizer has access to an easy-to-navigate dashboard that gives you real-time updates on the number of items purchased for your drives based on shopper reporting. This will save you time and effort in keeping track of what has been collected already and what items still need to be collected in order to completely fulfill your drive list.
