Hope starts here. Blue Haven Rising is a donation drive created to help families displaced by Hurricane Helene.
This couple, originally from Florida, had been through hurricanes before but were unprepared for the devastation Helene brough to their new mountain home. They lost their car in the flood waters, but that didn't stop them from helping neighbors and other in the community during the recovery. Even while dealing with health issues of their own, they continued working in the community to help others. When gifted the home, they satated "It's just life changing, and it gives you the sense of security that you always look for.
