Disaster Help- Year-Round Hurricane Supply Chain
Start Date: 11/03/2026
End Date: 12/31/2027
Natural disasters happen quickly and require a reactive response, so we can't wait weeks for donations and aid to reach our home. Space Force now records a $ 1 billion global disaster every 3-10 days. Third Wave Volunteers work year-round globally and across the USA, so we need aid ready to go.
This year, we celebrate 25 years of humanitarian service and our 987th disaster mission. Founded in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks, Third Wave Volunteers has spent a quarter of a century showing up for communities when they need us most.
Our most urgently needed supplies during hurricanes and floods: solar lights, portable solar power systems, LifeStraw water filters, battery packs and charging banks, generators, portable Starlink terminals, mosquito repellent, and walkie-talkies, among other essentials. Our current missions are in Florida, North Carolina, Hawaii, Venezuela, Colombia, Nepal, Haiti, and Panama.
