The Gathering's Souper Bowl of Caring

The Gathering of Southeast Wisconsin is one of the largest virtually all volunteer meal programs in the city of Milwaukee. The Gathering is a community of guests, staff, and volunteers united by a common goal; to feed the hungry in mind, body, and spirit. We were founded in 1982 have continued to grow. We have 3 locations. In addition, we provide and deliver meals 3-5 days a week for The Benedict Center, The Cathedral Center, Running Rebels both locations and Sojourner Family Peace Center. Last year, we provided nearly 94,000 meals. We are collecting items for our meal guests that are struggling with food insecurity. We collect these item to provide nutritious meals to those who would otherwise go without.
